Unclear: Overwhelming or Just Right?

I really do love all things rosette-like (which is so obv by looking through these posts) but I think Haute Hippie may have gone a little too far with this one... I like the color and the fabric, but honestly, there is probably no way that this would ever look good on me or any of my girlfriends.  I am leaning toward overwhelming on this one unfortunately. 

Its November, its time for a new pair of BOOTS!

These suede boots by Ash come in Black and in Grey and are perfectly priced for my pre-holiday shopping budget... only $300 (which may seem like its not that cheap, but compared to the Loefflers that I posted earlier, they are a good deal).  Pretty!  Lets see if my bank account can justify them...
