i have been noticing more and more red leather pants springing up all over the place... even on katie holmes on jay leno.  i feel like i should invest in a pair of black ones (WHY are they so expensive!?!) before i move on to red, but the red are pretty amazing...

sneak peek at mih jeans spring/summer 2012

vanessa jackman is one of my favorite photogs... she took these shots behind the scenes at the mih jeans spring/summer 2012 lookbook shoot and i love them.  love the clothes, love the model (gorg!), love the model's hair style.  i will be trying this at home.

what i didn't buy today

this may end up being a weekly (or if i am being honest with myself, daily) column about the things i am not allowing myself to buy, but would really really really really like to have.  i am putting myself on a bit of a spending hiatus which, lets be real, is very necessary (helloooo graduate school loans... am ex bill from very necessary but very expensive trip to europe... not going away on their own!).  ok, so here it is for today, what may or may not have jumped in my cart but what will not be shipped to either my home or office address:
