Ugh life is SO hard.  Especially when you are wearing your entire outfit from the night before and somehow found yourself walking on a long dock from the lighthouse in which you apparently spent the night.  I mean, what? Ugh.  And now your fur is going to smell all salty and you will probably have to have it dry cleaned.  And it wasn't even your fur.

A Fitting Image

I am in LOVE with Elizabeth Messina's photographs.  I was lucky enough to meet her at a wedding event last year, and in addition to being incredibly talented, she is incredibly lovely as well.  Anyone who is looking for a wedding photographer would be extremely lucky to work with her.  She posts many of her beautiful images on her blog: http://www.kissthegroom.com/, including this one, which seems particularly fitting for how I am feeling in my life right now.  Elizabeth coupled this image with an equally fitting poem by Robert Frost - The Road Not Taken.

As if I wasn't already excited about going to Turkey...

I am taking a little trip to Turkey next summer with my mamacita and I was already really excited about it... but then I saw these.  This shoot by Koray Birand for the October 2010 issue of Marie Claire is set in Istanbul, and is frankly gorgeous.  I just hope my trip to Turkey resembles these photos.. including the clothes worn by Barbara di Creddo... die.
